Laura, all my trim is moderate white by sherwin williams. Would the walls look good in that same color with an eggshell finish? I ordered two of your samples but it almost looks pink against the trim.
I like the consistent look of tone on tone, but need a good off white color to go with moderate white.
Hi! I have divine white trim and looking for a bright white wall color however every white I try just makes my moldings look dirty ! I didn’t realize how not white my moldings are until I put white paint against it! ? do you have suggestions for whites that will work with divine white? Right now my walls are SW Navajo White and i can’t stand the yellow tones that come through! My floors are Brazilian cherry. Thank you!!!
Thank you for reaching out! I totally understand what you mean. Whites can be tricky! The key is to find one that has a creamy undertone that will still work with your trim color, but not be so bright to dull it down. I have a few in mind that could work with the Divine White and would love to help you find the right one through an Interior Color Consultation! Let me know if you are interested. I love being able to solve these color issues to help others feel at home in their spaces. Color can make such an impact!
Thanks, Barbara! I hope to hear from you soon,
Laura
Help I am wanting to change my dining room color. It has oak floors and oak furniture. The color I have now makes everthing blend to much. I have divine white trim in the house. My main color for the rest of the house is latte. Also the kitchen is a sage green I believe it is softened green. You can see the dining room from the living room and also the kitchen. Semi open plan. Would be open to change the kitchen color to I have maple cabinets in there with oak floors. I was thinking grays but not to dark since my house is not that light.
Thank you for reaching out! Since the majority of your home is painted in Latte, then I would stay with the same undertone (pinky-beige) for your dining room if you plan to stay neutral. If you want some color in there (and your kitchen), consider a blue-gray or blue-green color that will go with your oak floors and maple cabinets and actually help to tone down some of the golden-yellow tones.
I would love to help you find the right colors to freshen up your home through an Interior Color Consultation! Thank you again for reaching out and I hope you have a great weekend. 🙂
Yes, brown and teal can definitely work with Divine White! It is one shade lighter than Kilim Beige and has tan undertones that will work with browns. In some lights, Kilim Beige has a slight pinky undertone, so I would suggest getting a sample of Divine White and testing it in your space before you commit.
I would love to help you find the perfect color for your space through an Interior Color Consultation if you are interested!
Thanks so much for reaching out and Happy Holidays!

I would go with a brighter white for your trim if you are using Divine White for your walls. It will give you a nice contrast without a yellow undertone.
Hi! My new house has divine white cabinets throughout and a very light
Striated beige tile floor. The backsplash is almost a khaki glass tile. And extra white doors and trim. The walls are all shoji white. I would live to paint my island some variety of blue or gray and need warming up the space with some neutrals that won’t be too beigey. Balanced beige is pretty but too dark in places. Any suggestions would be wonderful!!!
I would definitely pick a medium/dark-toned gray or blue-gray that coordinates with your beige undertones. It’s hard for me to say without seeing pictures of your space! Beige can have some different undertones and that will be a huge factor in your coordinating cabinet color. If you would like help finding the right color, I would love to assist your with a Color Consultation! Here is the link for more information:
Thanks Laura! I’m thinking cadet for the cabinets it looks pretty with the divine white. One more question- all around and the few feet above my divine white cabinets is shoji white which is basically the same color. I want to highlight the cabinets and brighten the overall look of the kitchen- do you think misty could work?
Try Softened Green or Liveable Green with Divine White for a fresh look. If you would like further assistance coordinating anything else in your space, I would love to help via a Color Consultation! Thanks for reaching out and have a great week.
Hi,
My whole house trim and doors are divine white, I have dark brown kitchen cabinet and wood floor, looking for a warm wall color. Currently have believable buff and don’t like it at all. It looks pale yellow,
A few wall colors to try with Divine White are: Malabar, Kilim Beige or Nomadic Desert or Bungalow Beige. All of these are warmer neutrals that have less of the golden undertone that Believable Buff has. If you are still having trouble, please feel free to contact me for a Color Consultation! I would be happy to help further. Thanks for reaching out and have a great rest of your week!
Hi Sonja,
Please forgive me for just now replying to your comment! I would try a soft warmer gray, like Alpaca (in the complementary color scheme) or possibly Agreeable Gray. Let me know if you have any more questions or would like further help. I offer remote color consultations for paint situations that can be overwhelming! 🙂
My home as divine white trim and I have just started painting my ceiling this color. I want a gray wall. I’m redoing my kitchen white and gray. Crystal cabinets current model. What would you recommend as a perfect wall color. I’ve been researching. Overwhelming. I don’t have a lot of direct sunlight.
That works since Divine White is one shade lighter than Kilim Beige. It won’t be a lot of contrast, but that can be a really nice look if that is what you area after! Keep me posted on your progress. 🙂
Planning on painting bathroom walls with Kilem Beige. Would Divine White work on the cabinets in that same room with white baseboards and ceiling?
Hi Burnette!
I would love to help you answer your question. Please check out my Color Question Consultation package in my shop.

It definitely could work! I would test a sample out first to see, but it is on the same swatch as Cadet. 🙂

Curious how divine white turned out with kilim beige trim! I’m thinking of doing the same. I’d love to see pics.
