That’s a good question! Fleur de Sel is considered more of a blue-white since it has some blue undertones. Incredible White and Eider White are considered greige/gray whites if that is more of the undertone that you are looking for. Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m thinking about painting my bathroom cabinets in Fleur De Sel and my walls are Sea Salt. There’s no natural light in my bathroom, so do you think that the blue green undertones in Fleur De Sel would come through and compete with the walls too much?
Hmm. They might. Get a test sample to see how it looks in your artificial lighting in your bathroom. Try using a warmer incandescent light bulb to see if it helps any. I might try to go a bit more white than Fleur De Sel for some contrast. Let me know if I can help you find the right color through a Consultation!
I am looking for a light gray as a main house color that won’t look like my walls are dirty. I have both north& south exposures. I prefer a light & airy look. My trim is a bright white & would like some contrast. Floors are dark hardwood. I am considering Nebulous White or Fleur De Sel. I love Passive, but I think it will be too dark. Not sure if lightening it by 25% would make it more what I’m looking for. Grays are very tricky! Any suggestions?
Would this Fleur de Sel white be considered a gray white versus some of the yellow whites (Alabaster, Soji)?
