I recently had interior of house painted with Kilem beige in a satin finish. The color appears grey to me in areas? What is the best chose for trim with the Kilem beige walls?
Hmm…I’m not sure why it looks gray in some areas besides the lighting. There are several choices for trim with Kilim Beige including a white or a creamy off-white, depending on your other elements in your home. I would love to help you through an Interior Color Consultation if you would like! Here is the link for more information:
There are lots of options for soft neutral tones. It will greatly depend on your other existing selections (flooring, countertops and surround tile/backsplash). I would love to help you pull together the look of your bathroom through an Interior Color Consultation to find the perfect wall color.
Thanks, Paula! I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Take a look at sherwin Williams films green. Both oh my sister’s have it and when I saw it I painted several of my rooms with this color. It is soft and mellow. The perfect green color.
I am looking for a soft soothing tan color for my whole house that is not too dark or too light. The space in my house is choppy so the color will look considerably different in each room; however, I’d like to paint a majority of the living spaces one color because I have bull nose archways passing into each room. My house faces Southwest, so I only get natural light in foyer/dining room and sun room part of the day. I don’t want it too dark but I like contrast with my white trim. My kitchen cabinets are dark wood and counter tops and back splash are tan. Most of my furniture is dark wood, also. Looking for something not too dark or too light. We’ve lived in our house for 5 years and it’s time I made it a home. (The walls are an awful pale yellow that have made it very difficult for me to decorate.) Thank you for your help.
I’m happy that you are making some big changes to update the look of your home so that you can decorate and feel comfortable in your space. That is so important! I do think that Kilim Beige could work. I would recommend getting a sample to test it out first.
