I would recommend going with Naval or Indigo Batik. After seeing them together, I feel like either one would coordinate well. I like Loyal Blue as a wall color by itself, but not necessarily with Sea Salt. Will the dark blue be an accent wall next to Sea Salt or in another capacity? Grab samples of both and see how they look in your lighting. Let me know how it works out!
I would like to use this color for kitchen cabinets with a white countertops and white backsplash. I am wondering how I can tie this blue to other rooms. Would painting the majority of the house with this color be too much? Or would an accent wall in this blue be better? Floors are like a tan wood looking tile.
Yes, using Loyal Blue on all of the walls would be a bit much, but it could work for an accent wall in an appropriate place. I would love to help you find the right color for the majority of your home! Through an Interior Color Consultation I can nail down the selection that will work best in your space:
I have a 100 year old Craftsman Bungalow. It has wood siding. I want to paint the exterior walls in Sherwin Williams Emerald Exterior Paint in Loyal Blue and trim everything in the SW base bright white… I am very hesitant about doing this… My heart says jump in… My head says it’s so DRASTIC… Lol… Please let me know what you think of using it for an exterior application? Thanks for your time!!! Regina

Hello! Which blue (Loyal blue, Naval or Indigo Batik) would work best with Sea Salt? Thanks!

What do you think of Loyal blue with extra white trim and SW Kilim beige ceiling?
Yes! Very pretty. I love the brighter and darker blues with a bright white. 🙂
Thanks for reaching out,
Laura

We are thinking of doing this very thing on our new construction and have the exact same feeling as you! We want it to pop, but not be too much!
