First of all, I have to say that you are the most helpful post I have found on all of Pinterest when it comes to paint colors. Thank you!!! I am struggling with repainting my entire house some updated light colors. I think Accessible Beige is great for my dining room and would like Sea Salt in my bedroom. My house is very open with an atrium entry and living room that has 23′ tall walls. The fireplace is two-story greyish brick. I would like to paint my golden oak cabinets but Im not comfy with white because my granite is Baltic brown. I cannot afford to replace them. Any suggestions for cabinet colors?
Thank you SO much! Your kind words mean a lot. 🙂 I wrote a post detailing my top whites and their undertones to make it easier to find the right white. If you still need help finding the right color, I would love to help through a Color Consultation!
Hi, I am painting the outside of my stucco house. We are in Florida. I love Sea Salt and was wondering if it would look good as the exterior color of my house? We face east if that matters. I love this color. Love reading the questions and answers. I learn helpful things from it.
Thanks so much! I do like Sea Salt for an exterior color, especially for a Florida home! Let me know if I can help with anything else through an Exterior Color Consultation.
Hi Laura
I just painted my small beach condo living room sea salt. Very happy with how it turned out. The floors are a gray laminate. The kitchen is small and is open into the living room. The counter tops are a granite beige black brown speckled (best way to describe) with Black cabinets. The entire space is clam and neutral tones with the color sea salt except for the black cabinets. Want to paint them a color that will tie into the rest of the space. What do you recommend?
I love the look of bright white cabinets, especially with Sea Salt. It’s the perfect beach condo look! I would love to help you find the right white through an Interior Color Consultation:
Hi Laura,
My house is small and faced on east side. I have warm wood floors and maple cabinets and cheery color sofas. I read in your website, select either blue or green paints for east facing houses. I like seasalt, but i did sample on wall, it looks more on blue on morning light. Can I go head with seasalt color on whole down stairs? or do you want to separate the color in family room and kitchen? or otherwise Are you going to suggest any other color instead of sea salt? Please help me?
Sea Salt is a beautiful color, but I have found that it works best for rooms like bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms and other specialized rooms. I tend to go with more neutral colors in open areas of the home. I have a few gray-blue color that would work well for your open layout and would love to help you find the right one through an Interior Color Consultation:
