   We are renovating a newly purchased home. We have decided that SW accessible beige goes best with our tile, which is everywhere except for the bedrooms. My husband likes the idea of an accent wall behind the two walls that will host our kitchen cabinets, which we think we’ll paint SW aesthetic white. Our floor tile is predominantly a mixture of light grays and a soft peachy beige. We also looked at Kilim beige, but it doesn’t work with our yellowy maple bedroom floors. He loves SW storm cloud! What is your opinion in how well these will work together: Accessible beige walls, Aesthetic white cabinets, ceiling and trim, and Storm Cloud accent wall in the kitchen family room? I’d appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

     Hi Nancy,

     I love Storm Cloud as an accent color! One thought I had was going with more of a brighter white on your cabinets, trim and ceilings since Aesthetic White is not much of a contrast agains the Agreeable Gray. I truly love a white (like Extra White) on trims/cabinets to pop out against your wall color.

   Would you say it is more of a gray or a blue? I see blue!

     Hi Emily,

     Storm Cloud is a blue with a slight periwinkle undertone. There is a hint of gray because it doesn’t get super bright, but the best way to find out how it looks in your space is to test out a sample.
