Is Tin Lizzie exterior paint considered to be a neutral shade of grey without undertones of blue? Now that the painter has painted the eaves, several of us are seeing blue, while others aren’t. Also, it feels a bit dark. Any thoughts as to whether or not this is a good color when selling a house? The trim, soffits, garage door, and columns will be in a soft grey. Our brick is a burnt orange/red color. Many thanks!
Tin Lizzie does have a slight blue undertone. I don’t think that is a negative for an exterior, especially with the lighter soft gray. There is still enough gray in Tin Lizzie to keep it neutral. Also, I love a blue-gray paired with burnt orange/red. They are complimentary colors and work very well together.
Look for some pictures on Pinterest to help give you piece of mind. I think once it is all finished and dry, you will be really happy with it. Let me know if you would like more help through an Exterior Color Consultation!!
