What do you think about using Urban Putty in the kitchen/ living room in an open concept layout (entryway and hallway are Wool Skein). Can these two colors be used in adjoining rooms that are open to one another?
I would need to see your space to give you an accurate opinion on how Urban Putty would work with your existing layout. If you like, you may hire me for a remote consultation here: Interior Color Consultation.
I am considering using urban putty for my walls in my main spaces including foyer, kitchen and family room. Do you have a particular white trim color that you recommend?
Thanks for reaching out! I have several go-to whites for trim, depending on if you are looking for a bright white or more of a creamy white. Let me know if I can help through a Color Consult!
Hi, We recently painted the exterior of our house urban putty. Is there a brown color u could recommend to paint the pillars. Also what color would look good fora door.
Thanks for reaching out! There are several good options for trim colors to coordinate with Urban Putty. I would love to help you find the right color for the trim and front door through an Exterior Color Consultation!
Thanks, Nancy! I hope to hear from you soon,
Laura
Hi! I love your blog! What are your thoughts on Urban Putty throughout a house? The living room will have tall/vaulted ceilings with lots of natural light. The trim will be white. The kitchen I am also thinking urban putty walls with SW Natural White upper cabinets, SW Silver mist lower cabinets and black granite tops……..Laundry room would have white subway tile back splash up to ceiling, water wave (black and white) granite tops and possible Urban Putty for walls??
I am just not sure what colors would compliment Urban Putty so I am nervous using it!
Would that even go good? My other thought would be SW Reposed Gray throughout the house for the walls and keep everything else the same!
Thank you! I love your selections. Urban Putty has more of a yellow/golden undertone and honestly will work with your selections (mainly white and black). However, if you would like to with a cooler and more modern palette, I would consider Repose Gray. I have several other in-between “greige” colors that are still warmer neutrals, but would go well the Silvermist lower cabinets.
I would love to help you find the right color for your home through an Interior Color Consultation. Let me know if you are interested! I hope to hear from you soon.
