Hello I am currently looking for the perfect creamy white to pair with the softer tan! I am doing chair railing with the tan on the bottom & need a good versatile white to go on the top portion. Also a white that will pair well with white trim. Help me!

Hello, Looking for a floor color to go with softer tan & umber. I have a long hallway that’s softer tan leading into a laundry room thats umber. The floor is concrete.
Thanks for reaching out! Are you looking for a stain color for your concrete or for a wood color for new flooring? Softer Tan is a warm beige color that works well with a medium toned brown stain concrete or wood floor color. I’m not sure what your style is, but I love the handscraped wood floor look for a rustic feel with the warm neutral “Softer Tan” walls. 🙂 Let me know if I can help further through an eDesign or Consult!
Hi Love your site! We are repainting walls in our home which has a very open floor plan. Want to keep the same color throughout house (except the media room which is dapper tan) All the trim throughout house (and there’s a lot!) is madacemia. Walls currently are dapper tan (too dark) Previously the walls were macadamia, which I thought was too yellow and , in addition, I wanted to try going lighter and having more contrast between trim and walls. Now I wish we originally used a different color , but we are likely stuck with macadamia for the trim so going crazy with the Sherwin William color wheel trying to find a near white that will work – worried too that it might not look good with the macadamia..have too much contrast, etc.. Our floors throughout main floor are travertine and carpet which looks very light tan off white , but has yellow/green undertones,.,, I wish I could switch and start over with a very light gray tone, but afraid that would look horrible with the other colors. Im just tired of all the yellow/green tones that I see with the current colors.
Forgot to mention that I want to go quite a bit brighter, almost an off white, if possible and if it wouldn’t look bad with the macadamia trim. Our house is clean lined and I don’t want things to look old fashioned – want to maintain a more modern, clean feel
[…] Softer Tan is one more to try. It is definitely more of a beige, but because of your lighting, it could be just perfect. Keep me in the loop of your progress. I would love to hear what color you settle on! […]
