I have recently painted my dining room in Tradewind with framed wainscoting in a two tone pure white and alabaster combo below the chair rail. I am having a hard time deciding on a color to do above the same chair rail combo in our living room. The room includes a red brick fireplace and I don’t know that I’m committed to painting the brick. I would prefer a semi neutral paint color that could follow up the stairwell to the second floor, but I can’t decide if a gray or beige would be a better fit? Or even a sea salt or topsail color…
Thank you for reaching out! I would look for a neutral that either has a warmer undertone that coordinates with your brick or a gray that has a blue-green undertone that will compliment your red brick. I would love to help you nail down the right color through an Interior Color Consultation. I can view pictures of your space and look at your existing fixed elements (fireplace, flooring, etc.) to find the color that will work best in your space.
Let me know if you are interested. I would sincerely love to help!

Could you suggest complimentary colors to the Kilim Beige? (I love the look of Tradewind and Sea Salt, but I don’t know if they would work. Your help would be must appreciated!!
